Hey bees ;o)
Let's show solidarity and help the animal shelter in Angoulême.
La Ruche is mobilizing and will serve as a collection point for food (dogs and cats), blankets, bedding and toys for animals, etc. The Angoulême shelter has reached its maximum capacity after taking in animals from Bordeaux due to the fires.
Please help us.
One of our bees, Sally, will be in charge of transporting all the collected donations to Angoulême.

Hello bees,
The project for a communal shared vegetable garden in Roussines is officially underway! ;o)
To get started, we need donations of quite a few things, please:
- Wood: planks, doors, beams, pallets... (old, partially composted, etc.)
- Water tanks/reservoirs, cisterns...
- Garden tools, as well as hammers, axes...
- Seedlings, seeds, young plants, small fruit bushes, fruit trees...
- Greenhouse structures, metal bars, stakes, bamboo poles...
- Old terracotta pots...
Windows, French doors...
- Fencing and wire mesh
- Sprinklers and buckets
- Solar panels, batteries, inverters...
- Compost, soil, manure (even if a bit old), straw, hay, leaves, branches...
So, that's a start!

Starting next Sunday, July 12th, we will be welcoming a new organic market gardener from Cherves-Châtelars: Gaëtan, who will be coming to sell his vegetables at La Ruche between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Good morning !
For the French as a Foreign Language (FLE) course, our current volunteer teachers will
to retire” while keeping in touch with their students
but in a different form than courses.
Our association is therefore looking for a volunteer.
who could provide the French as a foreign language course for
beginners starting in September 2026. This would involve one or two
hours of classes per week over 30 weeks of the year.
These courses certainly represent real work, but they are also
an opportunity to meet engaging people who want to
to learn but also to share. The choice of volunteering allows us
allows us to offer all 30 courses at a very low price for
the students.
We are looking for someone with teaching qualifications. A master's degree is required.
English language skills are not essential, but there is a need
at least a little.

An afternoon full of surprises!!!! with a musical atmosphere and an evening BBQ and concert!
